WORK EXPERIENCE

            Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen/ January 2008 - Present

 *Manage the dining area to ensure optimum customer satisfaction by making sure that wait-times are minimized

*Assign employees to guests’ tables to ensure the service is appropriate and food meets their   satisfaction

                Shakers’ Sports Bar and Grille/ November 2005 - January 2008

                *Managed a team of 15 employees and was responsible for the kitchen and bar areas

*Responsible for employee training and retention. Implemented sales goals for each employee in the bar area, thus improving and ensuring profitability

*Charged with the profitability of the kitchen and bar, while also making sure that both areas met with state health standards.  Implemented mandatory bi-weekly training sessions for all employees, to verify that everyone was on-board with the requirements

*Improved the profitability of the kitchen area by 40% in the 1^st year, by making sure that the staff was well-trained and food preparation and serve times were minimized.  Also applied programs for the bar area, mainly drink specials that ensured profitability was also improved.
