-Unexpectedly moved into management position with strong prior knowledge of the duties and responsibilities that were to be expected. Learned quickly after walk-through scenarios of possible problems and encounters with the General Manager.

-Duties included but not limited to:

-Successfully creating a weekly staffed schedule that followed the Regional Manager’s daily pars as well as catered to staff’s availabilities and requests for time off.

-In charge of daily liquor orders that maintained well above the establishment’s minimum requirement for alcohol on hand; as well as successful integrated “new” liquors into establishment that would become part of the restaurant’s liquor menu.

-Successfully balanced nightly cash deposits and petty cash balances.

-Voluntarily spent training sessions in Back of House to become more familiar with menu presentation as well as to be able to help as needed.

-Maintained positive customer relationships and established new clientele quickly

-Hiring/firing and training of all Front of House staff, including bartenders, servers and hostesses

-Extensive knowledge and execution of drink recipes with a precise and proven pour count.

-Light office and clerical duties associated with Management position including but not limited to: payroll, accounts payable/recievable, maintaining employee files current, office maintence.
